The activities of the Institute for Health and Consumer Protection (IHCP) in this area are concerned with detection and characterisation of nanomaterials. In addition, the Institute provides the international community with nanomaterials for testing and maintains corresponding databases regarding information relevant for safety, hazard, exposure and a product inventory type of information.
